Nun bin ich also alleine hier und tue, was ich immer tue, wenn das so ist: Handwerker, Mängelrügen, Aufräumen, für die nächsten Besucher vorsorgen, Putzen und Dinge erledigen, die ich nicht erledigen kann, wenn Gäste da sind. Sobald ich die Übersicht habe – nicht die Dinge erledigt habe! – werde ich mich auch in die Kälte raus wagen und laufen gehen, denn es ist kalt hier oben und jetzt auch noch sehr grau. Gut kommt Morgen noch die Nachbarin nach Lysekil, das wird wohl wieder das Highlight der Woche werden. Sie ist so unglaublich nett und interessant und die Stunden mit ihr verfliegen im Nu.

Now I’m here alone, doing what I always do when that’s the case: craftsmen, notices of defects, tidying up, making provisions for the next visitors, cleaning and doing things I can’t do when there are guests. As soon as I have the overview – not the things done! – I’ll venture out into the cold and go for a walk, because it’s cold up here and very grey now. Well, the neighbour is coming to Lysekil tomorrow, which will probably be the highlight of the week. She is so incredibly nice and interesting and the hours with her fly by.
